      Oh no, I hope you have not fractured your ankle. You may have heard the saying that if you drink milk you get strong teeth and bones. That is because it contains the nutrient calcium which is important for healthy bone formation. So foods high in calcium would be great to help with healing.

      A healthy diet also contains vitamins and minerals There are a number of essential vitamins and you need all of these to stay fit. So the more foods with those in the better your bone will heal.

      Bones are also made up of proteins so getting those would also help.

      Foods with good protein / calcium and vitamins are: fish( tuna / salmon) / milk / cheese / meat / yogurt / seeds / soy products / bok choy / beans to name a few
