There are no cure for viruses unfortunately. Instead we tend to use vaccinations to prevent us from getting the disease. Vaccines boost our own defence mechanisms and create antibodies
that can help in the destruction of the virus in our body. Scientists are working extremely hard at the moment to try and develop a vaccine against this current disease. This could take quite a few months though, figuring out something that is safe for humans to take is not an easy job.
Though there are antiviral medicines that can work against some viruses (often not “a proper cure” rather something that helps a bit), developing those is really tricky and there has simply not been time to make anything against the new coronavirus.
