Hey, excellent question. There isn’t one specific food that would lower your chance of getting Covi-d19. But the best foods to take when you have a cold / or the flu are those that will help to boost your immune system (your body’s defence mechanism).
So fruits like oranges / lemon juice / carrots. Anything high in B vitamins as they help promote the immune system. Funnily enough cherry shots are good for the immune system.
Failing all that a nice big bowl of hot soup always helps when i have the flu.
Washing your hands for 20 seconds on a regular basis and not touching your face / eyes etc is the best advice the doctors have given to prevent the spread.
Having a healthy diet and activity regime so that we are in a generally healthy physical state, and following the general advice for hygiene is probably our best defence.
